Detailed description
Want to stay at a child-friendly campsite in Southeast France? Then think about Le Grand Bois. We have a three-star campsite near Dieulefit. On our site we have 5 camping places on the edge of the sun meadow with all the views of Mount St. Maurice. This mountain is also called the Indian because of its shape. With a little imagination he gives the idea of a face of a reclining Indian.
Le Grand Bois is a family campsite in the Drôme, an undiscovered area that borders Mont Ventoux. We are a little further, just outside Le Poët-Célard. Places like Dieulefit, Saoû and Bourdeaux are close by. A location where you can experience everything. Not just sporty, such as mountain climbing, cycling and canoeing, but also cultural. Just think of the markets and historic locations. We offer an overview on our environment page. Then you can already prepare your trip ;-).
Light camping spots Drôme Provençale
The camping pitches are located on the lawn. Nearby is a large forest, where most of the camping places are. That is why our campsite is called Le Grand Bois, the big forest. You have lots of light and sun on the sunbathing lawn. The places are approximately 90 square meters, so that a tent can always stand. All pitches are suitable for a motorhome or caravan and have electricity. Our campsite is perfect for the reception of groups, especially in the early and late season.
Those who enjoy swimming will enjoy it. We have access to an outdoor swimming pool with children’s pool. There is also a play set and a table tennis table. Our sanitary building is within walking distance. There is a bar / restaurant on the campsite where you can enjoy a drink and dinner. The campsite is open from 1 May to approximately 20 September.
